We have launched the fifth biennium of the GO TEXAN Partner Program!

The GO TEXAN Partner Program (GOTEPP) is a matching fund program from the Texas Department of Agriculture, designed to double the money available for current GO TEXAN members to market and promote their Texas agricultural products. This biennium current GO TEXAN Restaurant Program members are eligible to apply for GOTEPP funds to market and promote Texas agricultural products that they are using in their restaurants.

TDA will begin accepting proposals on August 22, 2008. The deadline to submit proposals for consideration at the GOTEPP Advisory Board meeting is September 5, 2008, and these projects must be scheduled to begin in December 2008. The GOTEPP Advisory Board will consider only the first 30 completed proposals submitted by the deadline.

The project application documents can be located below or can be requested by e-mailing debbie.wall@tda.state.tx.us or by calling (512) 463-7731.

Additional GOTEPP Advisory Board meetings will be held until all of the matching funds are awarded. Submission deadlines for consideration in future meetings will be announced by mail and on the Web site.

If you have questions regarding the GOTEPP program, please contact Debbie Wall at
(512) 463-7731 or
