We are excited to announce the third round of GO TEXAN Partner Program (GOTEPP) proposals to be considered this biennium! GOTEPP is the Texas Department of Agriculture's (TDA) matching fund program designed to double the money available for current GO TEXAN members to market and promote their Texas agricultural products. Producers, commodity boards, cooperatives, restaurants and businesses that are current GO TEXAN members or associate members are eligible to apply.
TDA will begin accepting completed proposals August 2, 2010. The deadline to submit proposals for consideration at the upcoming GOTEPP Advisory Board meeting is August 18, 2010. All projects must be scheduled to begin December 2010 and must be completed by July 29, 2011.
Please note that we are only accepting the first 25 project proposals submitted within the timeframe stated above.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If your project is approved for funding, you will have to provide matching funds to TDA prior to the start of the project. Be aware that all purchasing is done by a TDA representative to ensure state purchasing guidelines are followed. This program is subject to the availability of state funds.
