August 26, Educational Seminar Market Access Program & Minority Export Training
We are pleased to inform you that representatives from the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) will be visiting our state to educate future exporters on both the Market Access Program and Minority Export Training (MET). The MAP Branded program provides matching funds to assist small companies in promoting their products overseas. Eligible companies may receive up to 50 percent reimbursement for promotional activities in most foreign markets and some domestic markets. MET is a training program that provides the necessary tools to be export ready. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and SUSTA will sponsor the MAP/MET seminar in San Antonio on August 26. You are invited to attend the seminar for a small fee of $15/person (lunch will be included). Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. MAP/MET presentations will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Time will be available after 2:00 p.m. for those interested in one-on-one meetings (please indicate below). The registration deadline is August 20, 2008. To reserve your space, please fill out this form and mail to the region address with your check for $15 made payable to SUSTA.
