Cheese Fondue with Fresh Vegetables

   Ingredients
  • 1 c. dry white wine
  • ½ pound Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ½ pound Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  • Fresh vegetables for dipping: Broccoli, yellow squash, red peppers, carrots and mushrooms


Directions: Simmer wine in fondue pot. In a large bowl, toss the shredded cheese with the flour to coat well. Add cheese gradually, about ¼ pound at a time; stir after each addition of the cheese until melted. Add seasonings ; stir until smooth and creamy. Serve with fresh vegetables for dipping. Enjoy!
